Reviews
Affordable quality
- What did you like most?I chose this hotel for price and convenience, since there are 3 MTA stations within a 10-minute walk. Midtown Manhattan is an easy 10-15 minute ride and JFK is a fairly straightforward ride in the other direction (about 45-60 minutes). We were pleased with our room and the complimentary breakfast is an expansive and varied buffet, served in a dedicated dining room. The only caveat I would offer is that the walk to Blue line station might feel a little spooky to some after dark because it feels deserted. However, we had no issues with safety.
Good Place esp at around...
- What did you like most?Place is very clean and new and I prefer new hotels, even to someplace much more expensive. I happen to like staying in LIC the location is great. I liked the staff, also. A lot of the hotels that have sprung up in that area are kind of--mercenary or predatory, like they don't like the fact that to be competitive they have to give good deals. But this place was nice, and very welcoming.
- Was there anything you didn't like?idk, nothing that is better anywhere else. The rooms on this side of the river are cookie-cutterish and the hotels are a mid-range no-room service, no doorman kinds of places.
